Trip to the Caribbean, What Island & Resort would you recommend? My parents have decided that instead of christmas gifts we are going to go on a vacation in January. we have only been to Florida, so we don't have much experience researching vacation destinations. A Cruise is out of the question for my father. There is just the 3 of us, and I am over 21. We are thinking, Bahamas... or maybe Barbados, St. Lucia... but are open to other suggestions. for senior week me and my friends are going to Disney but we arnt staying in Disney.? we are staying in my timeshare owned by my parents. now the resort is Star Island in Kissiimee (sp?) and they have shuttles but its a nominal fee. Im a little confused on how these shuttles will run. Like what times and so on and so forth. its all just a huge blur to me and my friends are NO help at all. I have never been to Cuba before, but I have heard many people say how it is really nice there. I have heard that Varadero is the most popular and that although Cayo Coco has great scenery it is infested with mosquitoes. We want to stay in Kauai island. I found a four-star condo resort with partial oceanview 2 bedroom on the south shore (poipu beach) for about $1000/person for 7 nights... Is this a good deal? Or is it better to wait since it's still so early? Since everything in Hawaii is so expensive, I just want to make sure I got the lowest rate possible. Thanks!

why are all-inclusive resorts looked down on? I am planning a trip to possibly Ibiza or the like... We have a group of girls who can REALLY drink, and have all sorts of incomes (high and low)... I figured an all inclusive would be the best bet but after reading reviews ( on Ibiza hotels in particular) people say they are looked down upon. I have done all inclusive in Jamaica (5 star) and the US Virgin Islands (5 star) and they were reccomended by my travel agent. So I am not sure what the problem is overseas? Is this a british thing (I know Ibiza is a hot spot for the British)? I know there are not many all inclusives in the UK..... What kind of perks does the Disneyland Resort in Hong Kong offer guests? I'm planning to go to Hong Kong Disneyland in Winter 2010 and wanted to stay in the Disneyland Resort. I understand the pricing structure and that the hotel is rated five stars but beyond that I can't seem to find some key information on the services that the hotel offers. I've never stayed in a nice hotel before, let alone a hotel that calls itself a "resort", so I'm new to all this. The website mentions Spa treatments, a pool, a Mickey Maze, and other goodies. Are these things included in the price of staying in the resort or do they cost extra? Also, do resort guests get early access to the Disneyland park? And is a day pass included in the cost of the room or does it cost extra? Finally, has anyone stayed in the resort? I realize that I could spend considerably less in a hotel off the island but it's all part of the vacation experience and it's probably the only time in my life I'll do this sort of thing.

Orlando question? I'm planing a vacation to Disney world and other theme parks in Orlando. One day in Dubai city? Hi, I am reaching Dubai Intl airport on Nov 2 around 8:30AM. I am planning to spend the day and return to airport by 8PM to catch the onward flight at 10PM. So far, I have decided to visit the following places: 1. Palm Jumeirah 2. Madinat Jumeirah 3. Burj Al Arab 4. Emirates Mall I don't know if it is possible to cover all the above places but I need some guidance on transportation. 1. Wrong to leave an infant for 7 hours? Hi, So my boyfriend and I will be visiting my family in Hawaii and we are getting a kick a*s room at a luxury 5 star hotel (Hilton Waikoloa). We are taking a trip to the Big Island from the island of Oahu just the two of us and our son for 3 nights. Then we will be returning to Oahu. I don't know anyone or have family on the Big Island so I am interested in hiring a babysitter to stay in the hotel room with our son for 7 hours. The hotel will provide a babysitter. The resort has a spa and dolphins and snorkeling and waterslides and waterfall caves with jacuzzi tubs hidden in them and so many other cool things. I wanted my finacee and I to be able to enjoy for 1 day which will not be possible with an infant. You can't ride a waterslide carrying an infant and you can't snorkel with an infant and go through pounding waterfalls or sit in 105 degree hot tubs with an infant. I badly want to hire a babysitter to stay with our son for 7 hours and my fiancee is totally 100% against it. We will be on hotel grounds half the time and then maybe go to the beach and dinner the other half. Our son is not even born yet (we will be going on the trip when our son is about 6 months old) and he has made it clear to me I am going to be a stay at home mom until our son is in school and that our son is never ever to be left with anyone other than a family member or very close and trusted friend. Which means no babysitters ever. I am glad to be a stay at home mom but the no babysitter EVER policy seems strict to me. He said it is wrong and a very bad idea and I don't share his feelings. I feel that because it is a sitter the hotel will provide it seems safe. I do not feel mean about it either because it will litterally be his very first time ever being without me or his father or his grandmothers. It will probably be one of our only chances to have that nice time in a luxury hotel because the trip and hotel are a gift from family. Not something we could ever afford otherwise. Do you think that it is mean and dangerous to leave a young infant with a sitter for 7 hours or do you feel he is overreacting? Opinions would be appriciated. This article is for John McEnroe fans!!!! I'm sure most here does not know who Johnny Mac is? Is there a bigger draw in tennis than legendary John McEnroe? When Johnny Mac comes to town, will you be at the Player's Club to see him? Tennis great John McEnroe has had such a colorful career - peppered with equally colorful language - that his path is lined with innumerable entertaining stories. I'm not sure where to begin. Perhaps one of my personal favorites occurred about 10 years ago, when Mac was starting his Senior's career at the Kensington Country Club in Naples. I will try to set the stage so you can appreciate what really happened on court against local favorite Johan Kriek. At this time, Kriek was on top of his game, but McEnroe was not quite so sharp. As the match wore on, one fan - apparently a New Yorker - kept yelling, "John... you can do it!" As Kriek won the first set and continued to lead in the second set, McEnroe grew more impatient and began to display his legendary temper. "Come on," McEnroe yelled at himself as he slammed the ball down into the court. Finally, as McEnroe trailed a set and a break, the New York fan again yelled, "You can do it, Mac!" McEnroe lost his serve and sensed the match was slipping away. In the second set, he finally lost more than the game and yelled back at the fan, "Shut the **** up!" For some strange reason, I was totally shocked when Mac blurted out those fateful words. On numerous occasions, I had seen McEnroe play at Flushing Meadows and he often created quite a stir. Most likely, I was surprised because I knew there was a enormous difference between a Grand Slam event and the Senior's Tour in Naples, Florida. If we examine all of the great players in the game over the last 50 years, I do not believe there is any more compelling figure than John McEnroe. Whether it was his amazing skill on the court or his infamous temper, fans were glued to their seats to watch the show. To me, John McEnroe is a magician with a tennis racket - his imagination draws in the audience. Ironically, in a losing effort during the French Open final against Ivan Lendl, McEnroe displayed his immense skills over and over again and I was truly riveted to the television set. Had he not had a hiccup in that match, John McEnroe not only would have been a rare American French Open Champion, but he might have catapulted to the position of best player of our generation. As McEnroe mentioned in his autobiography, the Ivan Lendl/French Open comeback altered his rise to the top of the game. In other words, the French Open final had great significance in both McEnroe's and Lendl's careers. Another fascinating aspect of McEnroe's tennis genius is that he was truly a fast court star as he continually served and volleyed his way to seven Grand Slam titles. Not only was he aggressive as a server, but he also was aggressive as a returner as he moved in quickly to dominate the net. But when we watched him over the last decade in Naples, he exhibited remarkable skill on our slow clay courts. In a day where the modern player utilizes the looping semi-western forehand drive, McEnroe flashes the antithesis as with his compact continental forehand pokes and he jabbed his way to victory. As current American star Andy Roddick stands 10 feet beyond the baseline and slings one topspin forehand drive after another, McEnroe stands on top of the baseline and leans forward to move into the net. As Roddick moves his opponent off the court with dashing power, McEnroe takes the short ball and comes into the net to volley a winner. Even though McEnroe shows off his magnificent physical talent, it is his intensity that attracts me. In a day where overpaid athletes often "mail-in" their efforts, John McEnroe grinds to the end. His passion to give his best effort truly separates him from the pack. In the beginning of my journalistic career, I was apprehensive about interviewing this tennis icon. But to my delight, John McEnroe has been one of the most accommodating athletes that I have ever interviewed. Once, when doing my old show, "Center Court Live," the public relations person - Steve Griffith - told me I had only a few minutes with McEnroe. However, once we began shooting the interview, John put no limits on his time. We spent more time talking about one of his great infatuations - music (his wife, Patty Smythe, has one of the great voices in music) - and he was more than gracious. He was playful and entertaining the entire time. If you want to be thoroughly entertained for several days, come out and support the Jim Courier Seniors Tour beginning March 10 at the new Player's Club in the Lely Resort area in Naples. But when two shinigami named Takuto & Meroko come and tell her she has one year to live she asks Takuto to turn her into a sixteen year old so she can pursue her dream. In her sixteen year old body Mitsuki is healthy and she becomes the famous singer Full Moon. She hopes that by singing she can reach Eichi, the boy she loves who left for America 2 years ago. Fruits Basket: A girl named Tohru Honda who was living by herself in a tent one day finds a house on her way to school. Her classmate Yuki Sohma and his cousin Shigure are the ones who live there. When Yuki & Shigure find out that Tohru lives in a tent they invite her to stay with them. When her tent is buried in a landslide she accepts. Soon after she moves in Yuki's other cousin Kyo comes and challenges Yuki to a fight. When Tohru tries to stop the fight she accidently trips and hugs Kyo turning him into a cat. When Yuki & Shigure are accidently hugged too they turn into a rat & a dog. Tohru then discovers the Sohma family secret. 13 members of the Sohma family posses the zodiac curse. When they are hugged by someone of the opposite gender or they are put under a great deal of stress they turn into 1 of the Chinese Zodiac animals and the cat. Tohru promises to keep the secret so her memories are not erased unlike anyone else who was not apart of the Sohma family. But there are darker secrets hidden behind the Sohma curse and Tohru might be the only one to save them. Ouran High School Host Club: A girl named Haruhi gets a scholorship to the prestigious Ouran private High School. Since she is a commaner she cannot afford the school uniform she resorts to wearing slacks & polo shorts. Combined with the fact that she has short tousled hair and large glasses she is mistaken for a boy. While looking for a quiet place to study Haruhi walks into the Third Music Room only to find the Ouran Host Club (Which consists of, Tamaki, Kyouya, Hikaru & Kaoru, Honey, and Mori). While in the room Haruhi accidentaly knocks over a vase worth $80,000 so the Host Club (Thinking she is a boy) make her a host to pay off her debt. Haruhi's real gender is revealed to all the members of the Host Club but she is allowed to continue charading as a boy to be a host as long as she dosn't reveal it to the customers. Mermaid Melody: The Pink Pearl Mermaid Princess Luchia must go to the human world to find her sacred pearl that she gave to Kaito, a boy she met and fell in love with 7 years ago. After getting her pearl back Luchia joins forces with 2 other Mermaid Princesses Hanon & Lina. Hanon, Lina, and Luchia must use their sacred pearls to transform into idols and sing to destroy the evil Gaito & the Dark Lovers. But in her human form Luchia looks very different and Kaito is unable to realize that she is the mermaid he fell in love with! To make things worse Luchia is unable to tell Kaito about it because if a mermaid reveals herself to a human she turns into bubbles!
