Which hotel should I choose-Flamingo Bay or Island Seas Resort? I am going to the Bahamas in March and was wondering about a few hotels. If anyone has any information on Island Seas Resort or Flamingo Bay that would be great. Which one is the better choice? Or should I go for the all inclusive Club Fortuna? This is my first trip to the Bahamas and I would like to stay in a nice hotel.
Which island/resort in the maldives would you recommend? Hi My partner and I are looking to take our honeymoon in the maldives next year in sept - there seems to be so many resorts to choose from. We defintely want to stay in a water villa and we'd like to have activities to do as well. Where would people recommend and why ?
Is Luxury an effective positioning for resort island-style Casino? We are doing a project on the positioning of such a casino. The casino is located on a tropical island and has theme parks surrounding it, but nearby there is ANOTHER casino which caters to businessmen and such. Both of these have luxury as their selling points, but would it be effective to position my casino as a luxury facility which provides leisurely gaming?? What do you think is the most important selling point of a casino?

How is Barefoot Resort, Havelock Island, Andamans for honeymoon trip? If this indeed is a good place, what is the optimum duration? Which months are best to visit? How is November for visiting? Thanks for response. However I would appreciate answers from people with first hand experience of this resort - rather than information which can be obtained by internet search.
What is the best way to obtain a resort job on a Caribbean island? I am 25/m and live in philly.? I really love the tropics, and want to live down there for a year or so. I have experience in the restaurant industry, customer service and most of all Technical engineering, (automation, IT and electronics) industry. I also love to scuba dive, I have many times but I don't have my PADI OWD certification. I love the Domincan Republic. I would like an island that is very different culture wise from the States. I am looking for a resort where most things like room and board are taken care of. (if possible) Please let me know if anyone has any experiences and can give me some advice!
Can anyone personally recommend a reasonably-priced resort in Panglao Island in Bohol? We, (3 adults and 9-month old baby) are planning to go 1st week of January 2007 for 5 days maximum. I understand this is peak season. Have done a search and Alona Kew seems reasonable. Ananyana (?) ang Panglao Nature Resort seems a bit on the high side. How about Sun Apartelle? Anyone been there? Basically we just want a resort near the beach and the facilities are child -friendly. Will also consider visiting Chocolate Hills,a nd other notable places as well. I would love to hear from personal experience. Thanks in advance!
Does the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island have a dining meal plan available? My husband and I may be going there in March for 5 days. The trip would be paid for by his company (he may win the trip). I've heard the dining there is extrememly expensive and some people mentioned a "meal plan" you can purchase. However, there is nothing about it listed on their website. Has anyone been there and does anyone know? I know I shouldn't be counting my eggs before they're hatched but I'm excited about the possibility.
studying a role? island resort owner? I will be peforming in the role of a well-to-do island resort owner that is fair but still handles his employess with a heavy hand. Can anyone give me some movies with a similar character that I might can use for my research?
We are looking for a quiet resort in Thailand, possibly on an island other than Phuket? We will be heading back to Phuket in Feb and would like to go somewhere afterwards. We are looking for a quiet location/resort on the beach where we can do some snorkelling and fishing, within walking distance. Does anyone know of a four star resort that doesn't charge huge prices for food? Places we have been looking at are Koh Tao, Phi Phi, Koh Lanta... Any suggestions?
Suggestions for choosing an all-inclusive island resort for marriage.? I guess I'm a picky person but I'm just looking for something simple and inexpensive. I'm getting married hopefully this February (given we find a destination). I have about 15 people going with us to get married on an island and want to find an all inclusive resort. Our top picks are Bahamas, Jamaica, or a nice island around there. Many resteraunts, a non-hotel like atmosphere, and lots of stuff to do without crowdedness is desired. I really don't want anything high class just something that looks "islandie" and comfortable. Any suggestions?
Looking for opinions on Wheeling Island Racetrack Gaming Resort.? My wife and I are in our 30's and are thinking about taking a quick weekend getaway to Wheeling Island Racetrack and Gaming Resort in West Virginia. I'm looking for information on what the atmosphere is like and whether or not its a place for people our age or if it caters more to retirees. Basically any info you can give me about the place would be appreciated.
A small resort is situated on an island off of a part of the coast of mexico that has a perfectly straight? north-south shoreline. The point P on the shoreline that is closest to the island is exactly 4 miles from the island. Ten miles south of P is the closest source of freshwater to the island. A pipeline is to be built from the island to the source of fresh water by laying pipe underwater in a straight line form the island to a point Q on the shoreline between P and the water source, and then laying ipe on land along the shoreline form Q to the source. It costs 1.7 times as much money to ,ay pipe in the water as it does on land. How far south of P should Q be located in order to minimize the total construction costs? Hint: You can do this problem by assuming that it costs one dollar per mile to lay pipe on land, and 1.7 dollars per mile to lay pipe in the water. You need to minimize the cost over the interval [0,10] of the possible distances from P to Q
Is this Atlantis Paradise Island Resort really as bad as they claim? From reviews of it - If you are looking for wide open beaches, quiet moments, and relaxation - this is NOT the place for you. Everything is overpriced - $600 dinners (with DRESS CODEDS) and you can easily spend $200 on drinks and snacks for a family. too bad we had already bought their stupid dining plan and had paid for it. That's another rip off. Most places will only give you 2 or 3 options that will qualify for the 'dining plan' that is pre-paid. So, you end up spending more anyway. Too expensive, not worth it at all. Breakfast between 19$ and 24$, not that great. Dinner at least $200 to start with. Rooms were dirty and outdated, had to call twice for clean bed sheets! Floors you could not stand on without slippers. Could not go on the beach, pools were not so clean, old towels and broken chairs. What upset us the most were the hidden costs which you see when you get your bill, 30 and 14 and 17 dollar a day for room cleaning? Responses that lack support won't be considered.
