What island vacation spot would be safest for kids with peanut allergies? I want to take a vacation to somewhere hot and sunny this winter. My kids both have life-threatning allergies to peanuts and nuts. I know alot of island cultures use alot of peanuts/nuts in their cooking, or just simply are uneducated about food allergies ie. don't understand cross contamination with cooking equipment, "may contain traces", just think that if it has no peanuts or nuts in it then it's safe. What Tropical Island besideds Hawaii, is great to vacation on and not expensive? We are thinking of taking a family vacation, we have 9 in our family, all ages, we are looking for all inclusive or somewhere little known, or not really discovered yet any help would be great.

Has anyone been on vacation to Atlantis, on Paradise Island in the Bahamas? What did you think of it, will it be good for a honeymoon vacation for two, or is it more a family, non romantic vacation?
