What hotels in the Florida Keys are on the water like in Bora Bora? I'd like feedback on Florida Keys hotels that resemble this: http://www.all-travel.com/images/uploads/BOR_100_616x493.jpg (minus the mountains of course) or at least this: http://www.elitemeetings.com/images/prop/icborabora2_l.jpg This is for a weekend getaway I'd like to plan. The only place I've found is Palm Island Resort in the Keys but that's $1,000,000/night, which, well...it's a little out of my range. Anything better you could suggest for us non-celebrities? Thank you!
Vote for best Honeymoon location(s)? 10 Points for best Feedback? Here are the Honeymoon excursions we are deciding between: A). Stay in Over-water villas at Kanuhura, Coco Palm or other resort in the atolls of Maldives in the Indian Ocean & on our way home, stop in Agra, India to see the gorgeous Taj Mahal. B). Island-hopping in the Caribbean between Barbados & St. Lucia. Rent a private villa & go diving in Barbados, plus have a view of the Pitons in St. Lucia. C) Fly to the eastern Australian coast for a few days & then fly to a Fiji resort like Namale or Royal Davui. Mixin' a little outback with our scuba. D) Tour South America. Stay at Peace Lodge in the waterfall gardens & sanctuary in Costa Rica & move to Belize and south to Brazil, while touring Mayan ruins & staying in rainforest bungalows. We're obviously not basing our entire honeymoon of of this one vote; but we are looking for everyone's feedback! Thanks! What places are best about Bali ?
Like millionaire jokes? An old multimillionaire knew his time was near and he wanted to something for his 3 sons now instead of them inheriting after he was gone. Asking son #1 what he would want the most, #1 answered " I love summer, beaches, palm trees, surfing and lovely bikini clad women." So dad bought him his own private tropical island. Son #2 said " I love winter sports, sking, ice fishing, sledding and sitting in front of a warm fire at a posh resort." So dad bought him his own private snow capped mountain. Son #3, who was a little slow, said " I have always dreamed of having my own complete Mickey Mouse outfit, but you would never get me one. Can I have one now?' So dad bought him the entire Detroit Lions football team ^^^ Forgive me Lions and fans. Actually anything can be subsistuted for the team. Forgiven? ^^^.
Borra Borra or the Caribbean? I have decided to elope either to Hawaii and off to the Polynesian Islands for a Honeymoon or fly to the Caribbean to elope and stay around there for honeymoon. I need help on which is best for privacy, private plunge pools, white beaches and tons of palm trees? Prices are not an issue. I've heard about Jade Mountain in St Lucia, but it seems a little inconvenient...Any suggestions? Thanks!!:) PS I am not worried about Hawaii because I've stayed at at private resort there and lived there for a while. Our main concern would be the Honeymoon...
Help with Orlando Hotel for me and 5 year old son? I need a little help with planning a trip to orlando with my 5 year old son. Its our 1st time going to Orlando, Florida :) I have only booked my flights so far, could anyone recommend a good hotel for the 1st two weeks of march 2011? I was about to book Holiday Inn Club Vacations Orlando - Orange Lake Resort, which looks like a great resort, our own kitchen (to save a bit of money) and the pools and everything looks amazing..however after reading reviews on trip advisor there seems to be a LOT of extra costs, like $9 a day for tubes for the lazy river and $15 each for a shuttle bus to the disney parks etc. :/ and i plan to go to the disney parks almost everyday for the 2 weeks! My friend told me some hotels offer free shuttle buses to the parks and i came across Gaylord Palms, another gorgeous hotel but they only have small rooms with no kitchen so we'll have to eat out everynight. I've searched the internet and the two best hotels i could find (in my price range was these 2 hotels). Would it be too much hassle maybe booking 1 week in the Holiday Inn, Orange Lake and 1 week in Gaylord Palms? As we'd get free shuttles in one hotel and great pools in the other! Or should i book into the same hotel for the 2 weeks? I'm so confused! Has anyone stayed at either of these hotels? Could anybody recommend any other good hotels around the disney area, preferably with free shuttles to the parks, and good pools, and lots of things to do at the hotel, as i plan to spent the rest of the holiday relaxing at the hotel. Also Im not goin to rent a car as its only me and my son and with the cost of parking at disney, fuel and the Daily Surcharge for drivers under 25, it wouldnt be worth it. Whats the weather like the 1st two weeks of March? Also which parks would you recommend for a 5 year old? The Walt Disney Resort or to get the Orlando FlexTicket, or the Orlando Freedom Ticket which lets you visit: * Magic Kingdom Park * Epcot * Disney's Hollywood Studios * Disney's Animal Kingdom * Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park* * Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park* * Universal Studios Florida * Universal's Islands of Adventure * SeaWorld Orlando * Aquatica * Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Which would be the best for a 5 year old? If we got the Orlando Freedom Ticket, would we have enough time to visit much diffrent parks, or would it be a waste of money? After looking both of them up, I thought the Orlando Flexiticket looked best, but would my 5 year old enjoy it? Sorry for all the question :) hope someone will be able to help, Thanks.
