how far is atlantis hotel from paradise island harbour resort? IS atlantis in walking distance to paradise island harbour resort

Has anyone here stayed at the Paradise Island Harbour Resort in Nassau, Bahammas? How far is it from Atlantis? I am staying there next week and am not sure If I picked the right hotel. I just need a place to stay so that I can get to the fun places with out spending money for expensive hotels. I just need an idea as to how far away this place is at from Atlantis, the casinos. Also, how is the transportation over there? thanks

paradise island harbor resort? can anyone tell me how is the paradise island harbor resort??? i will be staying they the second week in december. i just wanna make sure its a decent place to serve its purpose, comfortable to sleep . i have been told the location is great because i am not to far from things. normally i stay at the wydham so i really don't know too muhc about staying on paradise island. thanks for all the help also ~ can anyone let me know whats going on down there from 12/15-12/24??? thanks again hell for a 10 day trip that i got for a very good price ( timeshare so what ) .. i just bascically need a decent place to keep my bags and get a decent nights sleep if ever i am there. through the years that i have been coming down i have met quite a few people so i won't feel that alone...... not too worried by all the " glory of atlantis " seen it once and its just too much for me

Has anyone been to Paradise Island in Nassau? Hello! My husband and I will be going to Paradise Island February 13 of 2010. Has anyone been there? What was your experience like? Any suggestions about where to go and things we MUST see and do? We will be staying in the Paradise Island Harbour Resort...any reviews on the resort would be great! What's the weather like in February? We will be there for 1 week and we would like to travel around Nassau and not just stick around Paradise Island... is it expensive to get around Nassau? What kind of food, snacks, supplies can be brought into the Bahamas ? I often read of previous visitors recommending filling suitcases with snacks, supplies and foodstuffs, to cut the cost(expense) of a trip to Nassau and or Paradise Island (Harbor side Resort) so as not to upset Bahamian customs. If a duty is imposed, what cost ranges are we talking about. Will be four of us (two adults & two kids going in Feb. 09

I am going to Atlantis in the Bahamas in Feb. and staying at Harbor Side Resort.? This is the units with full kitchens. Is it better to try and buy food on Paradise Island and cook or buy the meal plan? I am concerned about the cost and transportation of groceries vs just paying $60.00 a day per person for 3 days. ($360.00 total). Does anyone have firsthand experience with cooking at Harbor Side? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

mmkay. i need HELP planning a trip to the bahamas!? mmkay:) this summer, me, my mom and dad, my sister, my aunt, my uncle, 4 cousins, and my grandpa and grandma are probably going to the bahamas:) i cant wait! the only problem is with my younger cousins they want a hotel with all enclusive meals (4 year olds are picky eaters!) this is making it hard to find a place to stay. anywhoo... i found this place...its called paradise island harbour resort and its like on the beach. the total cost for 3 rooms for 5 nights, an incuded breakfast, lunch and dinner, and round trip flights will be $10,181. is this resonable? when i asked my mom about the resonability of the price she agreed but when i tried to show her she told me to go to bed! any tips to convince what i have found is a good idea? thanks:)
