what would you suggest for an inexpensive island getaway ?

2. The Big Island.....and during the winter months.... The big island is the least expensive of all islands to travel to and vacation at.

I live in Hawaii and even though people say its expensive, you can fly out here from california for about 200-300 bucks and then stay in a place on craigslist for like 40-50 bucks a night, or even 4-500 bucks a month. Its very laid back. The island of Oahu is pretty expensive, but if you come, come to kauai and just chill out on the beach. Its not expensive, few tourists, and nice people. They might even let you use their car if your lucky.
4. I would suggest the Grand Bahama Island in the Bahamas.The flights and rates are affordable and private.
