What is the best value for a island vacation in the Carribean?

I looked into Bermuda (seems very expensive) and Aruba (Seems OK). Mostly looking for a good time on the beach for about 4 days. Wondering what the best value is? Going in May/June.

  1. playa del carmen... it's the best and it's close to cancun...
  2. If you live in the states I think you might look into the Bahamas. Its a short plane ride and shouldn't be too expensive on airfare. If you would rather drive there is the Florida Keys. Grand Cayman is a cheap ticket with amazing beaches, but expensive accommodations. But I can recommend the Comfort Suites in Grand Cayman. Reasonable price, right in the middle of everything. While it says they aren't beachfront, it's a 2 minute walk to the Regency on Seven Mile Beach.
  3. Since you aren't going for long you really shouldn't go anywhere far. I would recommend Puerto Rico. You can find rooms for under $100 per night and flights are pretty reasonable.
  4. Dominican Republic. Cheap Food . Cheap Beer and Rum. Lots of bitches.
  5. I recommend Roatan. Beautiful beaches, Great water sports, Lots to drink and inexpensive to luxury accommodation's. http://www.travel-roatan.com/
  6. Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, nice beaches, nice food and not to expensive.
