- U SHOUL GO ON THE INTERNET
- Oahu for it is the best island where all the things you want were being offered!!!
- The best island would probably be Oahu if those activities are important to you. It has everything listed.
- Oahu will be the best
- Be sure to grab a (name of Island) THIS WEEK. Its a magazine listing everything going on on that particular island. Oahu has a lot of activities, but it is mostly over developed theme parks. Honolulu is a big city, and you have to lay upside down to get a tan. The Pipeline and Sunset Beaches are spectacular, but too rough for kids. Pearl Harbor is very moving. Maui is a more relaxed vacation setting. Quiet beaches and Lahina is a fun town. The drive to Hana is very long and beautiful, and the 7 pools are incredible. Haleakala volcano is amazing at sunrise. Take a boat ride to Molikini for great snorkle/scuba. Kauai is less developed, & more relaxed.. Nepali coast you can snorkle in the grottos, and Waiamaya Canyon is fabulous. I like the Big Island the best (Hawaii) The active volcano, black sand beaches and pineapple plantations. But it may be too rugged with a baby and a grandma. I think Maui is the best island as a base with kids. Try to visit at least 2 islands to get some diversity. You cant see everything unless you are there at least a month.
- I lived on Maui for 3 years with my children. I am biased, but I have spent some time on Oahu and other islands. Every time I went to Honolulu I could not wait to get back to Maui. It has a night life, rich ecological diversity, less traffic, and more beaches than Oahu. I think you will find the activities you are looking for there in a relaxing atmosphere. It's a good choice for a family vacation. I'm really hoping you research this more--it's worth it. The ONLY reason I would ever recommend Oahu to someone is if or if they want to see Pearl Harbour and love a crowded city.
- Hi For vacation i think kailua-kona is a best place. Just go through it: http://www.alwaysonvacation.com/vacation-rental-guide/kailua-kona_60600/
- Nightlife, water activities, sightseeing - go to Oahu. For relaxing days, try Maui. The Big Island has water sports and great sight seeing, but not much in the way of night life. For your first time to the islands, Oahu is probably your best bet.
