Can anyone suggest a beautiful and quiet place for summer vacation in Long Island? Thank you.?

My boyfriend and I plan to have a one-week vacation in Long Island this summer. We know that many popular beaches can be really crowded, but still hope to find some where nice and quiet. Please help.

2. Sorry--why would you come to Long Island for vacation? It's so congested, you'll spend all your time sitting in traffic. The beaches, if you can get to them, are packed. The people are unfriendly and pushy. And other than the beaches, there's nothing remotely vacation-y to do here. For someplace nice and quiet, pick a different destination.
