My hubby and I want an island vacation in March or April. Any stories or suggestions?

Gambling is a huge plus! Not more than 4-5 hours from NY. Money not much of an issue.

2. i jsut cam back from a southern caribbean cruise. My favorite island was st. lucia. we rented scooters that day and toured the island. it was the best island.

Well it's a bit more than 4-5 hours, but if you want an "extraordinary" island experience, most of the lighthouse islands in the Adriatic off the coast of Croatia now have luxury rooms, and you can have an entire island to yourselves & the lighthousekeepers! It's too late for 2007, but it's remarkable...check out the link:
5. The ABC Islands (Aruba Bonaire and Curacao) are great bits of everything scuba/snorkeling, gambling, wonderful weather, awesome shopping! all inclusive on all islands and a ferry ride will take you back and forth or a small plane. can fly directly on to the islands from almost any airline.
6. If you like gambling, go to Aruba. It's beautiful and March is the dry season.
7. St Croix in the US Virgin Islands has a top notch casino at Divi Carina Bay, and you dont need a passport to come here! 4 hours from NY.....
