Do you need Wi-Fi to play Gopets:Vacation Island on the Nintendo DS?

Is it necessary or does it just enhance the experience? I will probably get money for my birthday, so if I need a connector I will buy it, but if it is not necessary I will not buy it. I know that... Do you need to go online for things, or can you play alright without ever needing to go online is what I meant.

2. I'm sure wifi is not necessary, otherwise people who don't have wifi wouldn't buy the game and their sales would be low. I feel that any game that has wifi only has it though to make the game seem better when you see it in the shop and I rarely use wifi on any of the games I have it on because it sucks. Overall I would say it would be VERY unlikely for it to be a necessity. Hope this helps.
