Which Hawaii Island is best for a Vacation?

Which Island and which city would be the best to stay in at Hawaii? Also, what hotel would you reccomend that is on the oceanfront?

1. i recently went to hawaii. the best island to go to is oahu cuz the hotels are better, its more of a tourist island. the hotel i went to was the Outrigger Waikiki on The beach. the view is beautiful and as it says it is on the beach!
