My husband and I are planning a tropical island vacation. Any suggestions for a fun, romantic trip.?

He has never been on an airplane or travelled outside of Canada. I have always travelled in Europe. So, we really don't know where the best spot would be. we are looking at spending between $1000 to $1500 (CDN) each

4. Kerala - God's own country . Try it ! Its one of the 12 must-see destinations selected by National Geographic . BTW its in the southern part of India .

6. Try looking at http://groups.msn.com/BigJuicesSanAndresIsland It is a nice Colombian Island off the coast of Nicaragua in the Caribbean. They have direct flights and packages from Canada. I refer to it as a poor man's Grand Cayman. It has 7 different shades of blue in the surrounding waters.
