Which island/resort in the maldives would you recommend?

Hi My partner and I are looking to take our honeymoon in the maldives next year in sept - there seems to be so many resorts to choose from. We defintely want to stay in a water villa and we'd like to have activities to do as well. Where would people recommend and why ?

1. One and Only Kanahura Fabulous place, great service, great staff and a small island nearby for lunches under the palm trees. Added bonus of seaplane connection from the airport. AND only hotel to have an airconditioned lonuge at seaplane terminal.

3. you should check out trip advisor and go on the forum on there, and there are plenty of reviews on all the hotels or there is a book you can buy called resorts of maldives and has reviews of every single island. We came back last week from the Maldives had a fantastic time it was amazing wish I was there now, it was 2 weeks of paradise and it really was just like its shown in the brochures.
