What is a good winter SUN getaway from London?

In need of a sun holiday! My boyfriend and I are thinking of taking a 7 day trip in late Feb. Where will it be warm enough to sit on the beach and get a tan? We thought about the Canary Islands? Any thoughts? :) THANKS!

7. Try Ubatuba (pronounced oobachooba) in Brazil! Paradise on this earth and, at this time of year, an area of small lagoons, where the jungle sweeps right down to the beach! Each lagoon seems to be well served with small cabana bars, serving good beer and cheap food. A feature of the beaches are the ladies (not topless!) who have a habit of getting up to dance around their beach towels, when the bars play suitably catchy music! (That is also a feature of Brazilian supermarkets........ the mums often stop to dance around their shopping trolleys!) Add to this, Red Beach, one of the finest surfing beaches in the world and you are in business!.......... Red Beach becomes a huge disco at night, where anything goes!
