Fun things to do in Rhode Island?

My boyfriend and I are going to Misquamicut, Rhode Island for an end-of-the-summer weekend getaway. Besides the ocean, are there any other fun things to do? Like arcades or a pier or anything? I haven't been there since I was a little girl so I don't really remember. But I'm asking in case the weather doesn't cooperate with our plans!
