Tybee Island and Savannah, I am trying to plan?

a weekend getaway with my grand-daughter. Can anyone recommend a hotel? Doesn't have to be on Tybee Island, can also be located in Savannah and would drive to Tybee Island. Thanks for all information in advanvce.

1. I go to Savannah twice a year, and the Planter's Inn is my absolute favorite. It's a walking distance to everything in historic Savannah, reasonably priced (roughly $150/night), totally free wine and cheese buffet every evening (with a live pianist), and fresh-baked cookies baked each night.
