If you were going on vacation to a tropical island, what things would you take with you?

I have to make a travel brochure for my English class. I need to know what things travelers should take with them when they visit a sunny island(yeah, summer clothes. what else?). Also, what things should they leave behind?

1. well since its a tropical island...alot of fruits and vegies..no need to bring anything except matches and some sort of fire starter to cook meat. also something to sleep with 2-3 set of clothing, soap tooth brush shampoo, entertainment like magazine ipod games anything... sport equipment..and friends or a girl
2. sunblock and a camera. :)
