Is it expensive to vacation on Seychelles Island?

I have heard that this island is one of the most beautiful in the world. I was wondering if a 3-5 day visit would cost an arm an a leg. Does anyone know of any good travel agencies that I should look into? I was also wondering if anyone here has ever volunteered through Cross Cultural Solutions or Global Volunteers? I have contacted both and am hoping to volunteer in Africa some time next year. Thank You.

1. Yes, it is extremely expensive. There are no low budget hotels or restaurants there, everything costs a lot. It is not a plave to go if you need to save money.
