What is a good island vacation for over New Year's?

My friends and I are trying to go away for the week after Christmas- someplace with a nice beach and guaranteed good weather. We are from Boston.

3. We spent New Years in Hawaii a long time ago, and had a blast. Take a sweater though, it is chilly at night!
4. Why not try a cruise? You'll get to visit several islands and swim at a different beach every time you're in port (usually 5 out of 7 days). Of course, there are age restrictions that vary by cruise line. If you opt for an island, I suggest St. Lucia or Antigua, but all of them have great beaches. You might want to check out the All-inclusive resorts. They are a very good value for your money, as food is relatively expensive (but the rum is cheap!). Have a great time.
