why do ppl wait till the very last minute during the holidays to get their meds?

there's NOT a bunch of sick old ladies out there without their meds, they didnt wait till the last minute and i wont keep my duh's to myself miss silverwings! u shouldnt of waited till today to have it called in! why do ppl do that crap? its annoying as heck!

1. Some people wait til the last minute during the holidays to get their meds because of the issue with their insurance where the prices are going to change after the first of the year. Others do it because they forget, but you are right to wait til the last minute especially on a holiday is annoying and can also be frustrating if it is a very important medicine where a schedule can get messed up because of the delays.
2. who cares if it's around the holidays? when it runs out, it runs out...what's the difference?
