is wearing a shirt and short not allowed in Jed's Island resort?

i was wondering about their rules and it's my first time there to take a swim...i dont have any swim suits so is it allowed to wear a shirt + short in taking a swim there?

1. when i went there people, were wearing clothes in the pool, and some were even making babies... be careful not to swallow pool water :)
2. Why not buy proper suits? It's not costly to own.
