Vacation on a Greek island... I appreciate as many answers as possible?

I'm planning to have a 1-week-vacation on one of the Greek islands with 2 friends in August. Yet we have only little idea about the islands. I'll be happy if you can recommend places or give advice on what to do. We want to have an affordable but fun vacation. Like spending time on the beach during the day and going to clubs at night... Sure all islands have nice beaches but we also want somewhere fun with a lively nightlife, young and fun people. We are looking for a reasonably priced lodging - not looking for luxury - just a clean and safe place to sleep and shower. Which island would you recommend and why? I would appreciate as many useful answers as possible. Thank you so much for your help!

1. I recommend Paros. It has great beaches, and very good nightlife. I think it will be perfect for you. The port, Paroikia, has more bars and clubs, whereas Naoussa has more elegant bars and restaurants, yet affordable. I prefer Naoussa. I think you'll have a great time there. You can find many studios on the internet, try that, you may find cheaper places than big hotels. You will also enjoy Kos.
2. cyprus! its not part of mainland greece but it has amazing beaches and awesome nightlife!

4. Most greek islands have a resort that is very lively nightlife and lovely beaches. Like in cofu Kavos, Crete Malia, Rhodes Faliraki, Cyprus Ayia napa and Zante Laganus!! :) They are all really good from what I have heard .. I went to faliraki last year with my friends and it was the best week ever!!! It was red hot everyday, with loads of things to do like the water park, beach parties bit of shopping, day trips or just chill on the beach or round the pool. The nightlife is AMAZINNNGGGGGGG every friday theres a huge foam party in bed the nightclub, I'm sure its the biggest one in euope!! :) But everynight is so busy and everyone is so friendly its so much fun :) It just felt like a whole week long party where everyone just wants to have fun!! Faliraki had really bad press a few years ago but it's going to become the biggest party place again :) this year there filming faliraki tv..a series which tells people all about the island and nightlife and talks to holiday makers :) Theres gonna be loads of celebs there too It's not that expensive either, we went 18-30's and it was one of the cheapest resorts to stay at and when you get there everythings resonably priced and theres loadss of offers on drinks and usually get lots of free shots on nights out :D I loved it soo much that I'm going back this year to work for the whole summer :) not long now!! hehe hope this helps, sure you'l have a great time no matter where you go thou :) hope ya hav an amazing summer n if ya in faliraki myt see ya :) lol xxx
5. I suggest the islands of Mykonos, Crete or Kos. These are the only islands i've been and had almost what you seek. Nice beaches, nightlife, parties, not that cheap yet not that expensive, young and fun people, im not sure about how clean it might be.. that depends from the people there.. you know more tourists = more dirt. But to tell you the truth when i went in Mykonos, last July, i had a great time, it was safe, the beach bars and clubs were clean and cheap hotels were good enough.
6. As you have indicated all islands have nice beaches to spend the day so the weight falls on night life entertainment. That is a measure that can be easily accounted for if you had clarified how much lively and wild you want your nights to be. That is because in every island more or less you get something of the sort but if you are stationed on the one side of the island is difficult and expensive on ending your night to have to travel some distance to get to your place. So for Corfu Kavos, for Crete Malia, for Rhodes Faliraki, for Cyprus Ayia Napa and for Zante Laganas are the wild night life places and being far away from them will be an added expense if you book elsewhere. Moderate night life that can be as wild as you want it to be are on any other place.
