What happens when a cemetery runs out of land at the last minute when someone who has lost a loved one has to be buried.

1. then they go to another burial ground..these things are planned ahead by 72 hrs.
2. They'd probably have realised they were running short a bit earlier on and acquired new land, or diverted any enquiries to another cemetery.
3. Any reputable cemetery will know the numbers that can be interred on their grounds, and be able predict about when they will run out of land. This means that they will take steps to acquire more land years before they run short on space.
