Can anyone personally recommend a reasonably-priced resort in Panglao Island in Bohol?

We, (3 adults and 9-month old baby) are planning to go 1st week of January 2007 for 5 days maximum. I understand this is peak season. Have done a search and Alona Kew seems reasonable. Ananyana (?) ang Panglao Nature Resort seems a bit on the high side. How about Sun Apartelle? Anyone been there? Basically we just want a resort near the beach and the facilities are child -friendly. Will also consider visiting Chocolate Hills,a nd other notable places as well. I would love to hear from personal experience. Thanks in advance!

1. my family had a vacation in bohol 2 years ago.. and really bohol is worth visiting!! of course ur trip to bohol would'nt be completed without going to panglao island. When we went there we stayed in Alona Kew beach resort, but the plan was really to go to Bohol Beach Club(BBC) but the place that time was fully booked so the alternative was at Alona Kew.Alona Kew on the other hand was very nice, the atmosphere was very much of nature.Its perfect for a family vacation. And its not that expensive compared to BBC. The people there were also very accomodating, just like everybody in bohol. hope that helps!! Good luck and have a nice vacation
2. I absolutely loved Alona Tropical which is along the same beach line as Alona Kew. They have very reasonable rates.
