What is the cheapest way to book a last minute trip to vegas? Hotel and flight.

  1. The flight will break your wallet. The closer it gets to departure date the more expensive the ticket will get. They try to get people to book and pay as early as possible to assure full occupancy. If they gave the cheapest price at the last minute then everyone would be waiting until the last minute to buy their ticket and will cause problems. Why do you think they over sell flights and then when someone comes along at the last minute they pay three time more than someone who booked three months ago, who do you think gets bumped?
  2. Do a Google search for LAST MINUTE TRAVEL. See what rates are offered at whatever sites come up. Then check Travelocity, Expedia, Priceline, Orbitz, all those types of sites. If they've already pre-purchased airfare you should get a better deal than buying directly from the airline.
  3. Check for flights online at one of the travel websites (travelocity, orbitz, cheaptickets), but call the hotels for reservations, because your more likely to get a deal on a good room if you go through the hotel instead of a booking agency... have fun!!
  4. The best way to get a great deal is to book them separately. For flights, check sites like Southwest airlines or US Airways. Also do a search on kayak engine. It will check all airlines going to Vegas and all major travel sites and return the cheapest fare. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/cheap-flights.php For hotels, book directly from the hotels using their discount promo codes to get the maximum discounts. Here are a few codes. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/special.php

  6. Hitchhiking.
  7. Allegiant air does not really raise their ticket prices for last minute flights. They only fly out of small airports, so you can check and see if one is near you.
  8. first of all, make sure you book your flight and hotel together. there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
  9. In my experience booking flight and hotel separately is the best in order to get the cheapest price. For flights I recommend to use kayak.com and for hotel rooms http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com is great because it has the latest promotion code offers which you can use in order to lower the room rates.
