Which is better Bahamas or Cancun (for a vacation)?

I am going on vacation this April but I don't know where to go Cancun or the Bahamas? what I am looking for is -warm tropical climate -long beach to walk and run on (If I go to the Bahamas i would probablly stay at the Atlantis resort or some other resort on Paradise Island If I go to Cancun I would probablly stay at the Riu Cancun resort) -shopping and restaraunts near by -a nice resort -warm water thats good for swimming - a resort zone (a beach with a lot of resorts running down it) -safe food-isnt the water dangeruse to drink in Cancun?

2. Cancun, It's much better and cheaper also. I've been to both places and I liked Cancun better.
