why do people assumed we might get a rich boyfriend on an island resort?

i'm going to work on an island, i've been hearing people are so happy for me that I can get a rich boyfriend there when I seriously doubt it... give me ur opinions pls?

1. Seems pretty logical to me: who goes to Island Resorts? Those wealth enough to stay there and those that work there. So you (a young lady) go work at this resort, you will obviously meet some of its relatively wealth patrons. If you're attractive and interested these wealth patrons might assume that their wealth will impress you and that you might wish to be romantically involved. If you do then that's fine. You just shouldn't assume that when their holiday is over that they will wish to take you home with them. So, if you want anything more that a "holiday fling" than I suggest you look a little closer to home. But that's just my thoughts on the subject.
