Why wouldn't my washer complete the last minute of the rinse cycle?

It goes through the entire wash cycle, gets stuck on the very last minute every time,therefore it does not go through that last minute of spinning which leaves my clothes in a pool of water. It's a GE front load.

1. Sounds like your timer is going out. If it has a dial on it the gear may be worn and if it's push button the contact may be wearing out.
