She won't let me breathe?

My wife is very demanding and needy. We've been married since December and I thought then she would be the perfect wife. She found out she was pregnant a month before our wedding and I was happy as I wanted another child with my ex wife. Since then she has become demading. Shortly after the wedding she began to fall asleep early in the evening and was always being sick. I used to tell her to go to bed, or go and stay with her mum so me and my son (whos 19) could play games, Just because she felt tired and sick there was no need to spoil my life. My son was due to go to his mums to live, but I dont want him to go. My son is my best friend. which upset my wife -p but shes my wife not my friend. She wanted us to move to a 3bed house but I wouldnt as my son is fed up with my wife and wants time alone with me, also my wife would be on the tennancy and could throw me out if she wanted and I'm not willing to lose my son over her. ] I arranged for her to go to her old house and i will visit her and the baby (though i need to be available to my son and don;t want him to feel left out). When my wife insisted she wanted to live with me i said i may look for a 3bed house - but now she says its too late and I should have done it when I was offered one and after what my son siad about her she doenst want to live with him anymore. I told her I was going on holiday with some mates when the baby is a month old - she got angry. When I realised how controlling she would be stopping me from doing what i want, I decided to book a holiday to the canary islands. She will be heavily pregnant at the time, but not due for a few weeks. I need to get away and am going alone. She told me she'd leave if I went - yet that means she doesnt want me. Other women put up with their husbands going on holiday alone, why is she so needy?

  1. You sound like a terrible husband. She'd be better off without you.
  2. She's not. You are being completely unreasonable. I'm not even sure I believe this it's so ridiculous.
  3. Uh oh. Call me psychic: you're in for it here. Probably at home, too. All women are "needy". I wouldn't define your's as especially needy. Just saying. If you're looking for a concubine, you probably shouldn't have told her, "I do".
  4. be patient, she's pregnant and carrying your child so you have to give in first. after delivery she might change if not then time to decide
  5. Either your question is a joke or you're an arsehole. Try reading what you wrote and maybe you'll see what I mean. If not then I can't help you and I feel very sorry for your wife.
  6. I feel sorry for your wife. You sound like you're the demanding one. Everything you said is "I, I, I". Everything seems to be about you. Your life, your son, your holiday, your friends. YOU need to get away? What about her? She's the one giving birth to your baby. Not you. I'd kick your ass out. You want to play games alone with your son? What are you, 12 years old? Grow up and be a husand to your wife. It's not all about you.
  7. How many times are you going to ask this question? Cut her loose so she can find a nice guy.
  8. It's probably all the hormones. I think you should both grow up and start putting eachother first instead of yourselves, do that and you'll have a successful marriage. Don't bicker of trivial BS.
  9. She needs love, she needs you there when at times she feels low or sick. Why did you marry her if you cannot be there for her,and going on holiday should be you and your wife. And yes you should still love your son,but not play games when your wife is being sick. If you cannot handle the fact that she needs you too, then set her free so that someone will love her in the right way,and take her on holiday. Things change when you get married, but you still want to live the way you did before, out with the boys,on holiday without her. If that's the way you treat a female, don't blame her for not letting you breathe, blame yourself for not loving her as your wife and treating her as your wife.
  10. You do sound like a bad husband. She's "needy" because she's pregnant, and probably, because she loves you. (!) Your wife is pregnant which is why she gets sick and tired - if you wanted another baby you actually need to expect the down-sides and the negatives. You can't just impregnant a woman and fly away when you realize she's going to have a lot of times during that pregnancy when she doesn't feel her best. You can't just sit around and play video games with your son all the time - your wife does need some care from you too.
  11. FIrst of all a 19 year old need to stay in his palce. And not let him destroy your marriage. I understand you want your son in your life but you got to let go and let him live his own life. You have a a Wife and a baby soon to be on the way. I don't think you wife is needy as you say. I think it is just you not ready for marriage.
  12. This has got to be a joke. If not bless that woman for putting up with you!
  13. I hope she does leave you, you sound like a child. I can't believe youre planning on getting away while shes going through pregnancy. When does she get a chance to get away? Leave her, its a holiday getting away from you.
  14. yeah your not a keeper
