2. It all depends on which island(s) you are interested in. Oahu: Royal Hawaiian, Moana Surfrider, Hilton Hawaiian Village, W Hotel. Maui: Hyatt Regency, Ritz Carlton Kapalua, Grand Wailea. Big Island: Hilton Waikoloa, Kona Village Resort, the Orchid at Mauna Lani, Hapuna Beach Prince. Kauai: Grand Hyatt, Sheraton Poipu.
3. you want elegance? Oahu, Turtle Bay Hilton, Kauai, Princeville hotel, best bet is to go to Microsoft streets and trips, and check each out by themselves check Molokai as well
