New Jersey vacation spot?

I've been to Long Beach Island and Seaside Heights.. both VERY different places, I am looking for something in between... anyone have ideas? Thanks!

1. I've been to Spring Lake. It's a cute little town with traditional B&Bs, condos, lots of good restaurants, and yes, a lake. Might be worth a look. You could also try Point Pleasant, which has a nice beach but isn't as crazy as Seaside Heights. Have fun at the shore :)
