Best vacation spot to go for a post-graduation, 18th birthday celebration with best friends?!?

Well, when I turn 18 in July 2008 my parents agreed as a graduation and 18th birthday present they would pay for me to go on a mini long weekend vacation with my best friends as one of our big last moments of fun before college. Thinking extremely far ahead.. anyone have any ideas where we could go? I'm basically looking for a place with nice beaches, fun night life for the 18+ crowd like dance or even comedy clubs. Not looking to drink of anything.. just to have a good time with my best friends before we go our separate ways. Also.. I was thinking a place with a nice hotel with a suite or VIP rooms. I was thinking Virginia Beach, Myrtle Beach, Rhode Island.. not sure! Ideas? I live in CT.. so driving is preferable.. but any ideas are welcome!

1. Well, my first suggestion would be Miami or Key West for the partying, but if you want to drive someplace then I would have to Myrtle Beach.
