Has anyone vacationed at Oak Island, NC?

I just reserved a condo for a week in July. The island originally was called Long Beach, but a portion has been renamed to Oak Island. Does anyone know about activities/restaurants on or around the area? Thanks for your help.

1. Yeah you can always hang out on the beach. You should also visit some of the local eateries and take some strolls through town. It's pretty much like any other town except with more water, nothing too exceptional but you should be able to relax.
