  1. I am 31, and I would say the Greek Islands. Hawaii is supposed to beautiful, but so expensive. Plus the Greek Islands are completely different than anything here in america.
  2. Greek Islands, get outside the USA!
  3. I'm 42, but I was about your age when I lived in Greece. I've never been to Hawaii, though I am American, but I can highly recommend Greece. I'm sure Hawaii is beautiful and I plan to visit it someday, but for sights, eating, and shopping, Greece can't be beat. Greece has unique items to buy and nice jewelry that is reasonably priced. There are beautiful ceramics, bowls and plates, icons, woven items, etc. The food is FANTASTIC. And the sights? Try Santorini. Natural and man-made beauty on the same caldera. Or if you can't afford to go too far from Athens, go to Hydra - no cars allowed, but there are boat taxies or donkeys. Stay in Plaka if you are spending any time in Athens. There is so much to see and do in Greece that has nothing to do with beaches, but you have the beaches too. If you don't have a whole lot of time and don't want to be moving around too much, stay in Crete. It's an island, but because it is so big, relatively speaking, it offers lots of different kinds of scenery. You can rent a car. Stay in Chania or Rethymno. They are Venetian. Or stay on the other end of the island.
  4. I'm 44, American and have been to both. Hawaii is extremely expensive, the accommodations are high and difficult to get a good room. The people tend to rather rude as well, I'll never go back to Hawaii. I have sailed the Greek isles and it is a wonderful area. The sights and water a spectacular, the people are extremely nice and there are so many small isles you can stay on or travel between. I am already planing another trip to the Greek isles this fall.
