Where is the best inexpensive lodging in Santorini, Greece?

My family and I are planning a vacation in Santorini, Greece next summer and are hoping we can find good but reasonably priced lodging in the $50/night range. Anyone out there familiar with this Greek island? Thank you :)

1. I stayed at Stelios Place this summer. It was very cheap and very nice. Our double was about $30 per night and close to the beach.
2. All the Hotels that are on the non-caldera side of the isle are fairly cheap. Try the hotels near Kamari, Perissa, etc. Anything but Fira, Ia, Imerovigli. Try www.gto.gr
