Recommend an exotic and beautiful vacation destination?

I would like to take a trip with my parents and a few friends somewhere very beautiful and exotic. The Greek island of Santorini is very high on my list, but i would like to know of other places. I would like to go somewhere that has a very surreal and breathtaking beauty. Anyone know any?

2. Croatia, beautiful coast with many many .... islands, plenty of national parks and roman empire heritage. Great food.
3. You should definitely put Madeira (island belonging to Portugal) as well as the Azores (also island belonging to Portugal) on the list. It will take your breath away!! In my opinion, no Greek island can compete with those islands in beauty Croatia is also very beautiful of course. Dubrovnik (Croatia) is a very pretty city and the country of MonteNegro is also fantastic.
