Where is the hottest place we could do a last minute holiday to for 7 nights?

We have one week and really want to get some sun and sea. We're not fans of package holidays, so we were wondering if anyone knew which countries have great sun this time of year so we can put together our own last minute holiday. Thank you very much.

3. Dalyan in Turkey! Myself and my g/f went there a while back for the 1st time, it was awesome! If you want late bars and clubs they are there if not, there are many other things to do! 6. Any of the Canary Islands should suit, the weather is usually hot, Gran Canaria might be the best choice because there is plenty to do and you can do the holiday under your own steam rather than the package deal.
