  1. yoshis island rocks you should get it and the other ones do get boaring but branage 1 and 2 refresh your brain
  2. get transformers deseptacons.
  3. yoshis island might get boring brain age 2 is harder and the legend of zelda the phantom hourglass
  4. Haven't played Yoshi's Island DS, but I can say the handwriting recognition wasn't that noticeably different in either Brain Age 1 or 2. I Can account for the fun factor of Mario Kart DS, but only because I enjoyed the Nintendo 64 version so much. I'm a big fan and therefor it doesn't get boring to me. I don't remember how long the game took me to beat, but I went back afterwards racing with the different characters and also testing my skills with the time trial mode. it's not nearly as long as Yoshi's Island DS I'm sure, but there's a ton of replay value if you truely enjoy the game. Brain Age is more along the lines of play for a little bit here and there, just to do something somewhat mind enticing lol. Other games I'd recommend are Advance Wars DS (pretty difficult game), Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrows, Castlevania: Potrait of Ruin (I'm a big castlevania fan heh). There's a few more games that are enjoyable, but these few are the reason I keep my DS. These are far more difficult games than what you own/ plan to get and are fun to me because of their complexity, but aren't as simple as the games you're looking into. I would recommend staying with Nintendo games as most are pretty simple and enjoyable, but if you want simple yet fun, puzzle games can have tremendous replay value and never seem to get old (tetris anyone?). What do I do? I'm a college student with not enough free time to enjoy lifes 3rd party titles lol! Good luck!
