What PLACE comes to mind when you hear "island getaway"?

1. Jamaica!
2. I'd say that Puerto Gallera, Apo Island, Malapascua Island and Coron, Palawan, do come to my mind. Choose your pick ! :-))
3. I also say Jamaica!! :) The lovebird and all. It's beautiful in Jamaica.
4. Jamaica, mon!!! (only because I've been there 3 times and it really is the ULTIMATE island getaway...) but I really would like to see Bora Bora....

Bohol ........ very nice island to relax in and explore ...... i spent four nights there last year with my asawa ( wife ) .On arrival we hired for a day a van and a driver who circumnavigated the island in a day,stopping and visiting many sights,talking to the locals etc,etc ..... lunch was on a river barge complete with live band for 500 pesos ( about $15NZ ).We saw the worlds smallest monkeys and held with permission ),visited an underground cave, entered a butterfly farm,explored the world famous ( in Asia anyway ) Chocolate Hills and spent most of the rest of our stay relaxing on the sands of the beaches or swimming in our reasonably priced hotel pool ...... the food of course is always exceptional and cheap by European standards ..... there are many other places of course in he Phil's but this is the one most recently stayed at .......

12. boracay? batanes? any peaceful island will do...

16. Siquijor. There's nothing to do there, and there's no one there to do nothing with. It's not called the perfect island getaway for nothing.
